Project content:
Quality has played a key role in the strategy of ReMat Plc since 2000, and to this end it has made a number of investments to improve quality (application of a laser filter, automatic sorting system, automatic water purification system).
In the name of a circular economy, the amount of recycled plastic waste and, in parallel, the use of secondary raw materials must be increased. To this end, and based on the signals received from customers, the stability of the homogenization and flow index of the produced regranulates has become an important requirement.
In line with these expectations, our company has decided to install and incorporate one of EREMA’s latest developments in homogenizing systems for extruders: continuous MFI measuring devices.
The total cost of the investment is nearly HUF 100 million, which our company implements on its own. For the implementation, we will use an interest-free loan of HUF 86,500,182 from Hungarian Development Bank within the framework of the GINOP-8.3.5-18 tender.
With this investment, we also want to contribute to the achievement of the climate and environmental protection goals announced by the government bodies, and to the implementation of the tasks set out in the guidelines of the EU circular economy in Hungary.

Expansion of production capacity at ReMat Plc’s Rakamaz site

Beneficiary’s name and address: ReMat Hulladékhasznosító Plc, 3580 Tiszaújváros, TVK Industrial Estate 2096/3, 2096/8 hrsz.
Project title: “Expansion of production capacity at the Rakamaz site of ReMat Plc”
Amount of contracted support: HUF 24,084,156
Aid intensity or amount: 50%

Project content:
The aim of the development is to expand production capacity, maintain and expand market share, and thus increase the company’s sales revenue.
In the production hall in Rakamaz, LDPE and LLDPE granules are produced during the production process by processing natural packaging waste. By setting the new screw press under development in the technological line, an additional capacity of about 50 kg / h can be achieved. Accordingly, an additional capacity of around 1,200 kg per day can be provided, resulting in an annual production of 360 tons of additional capacity. Due to the increase in capacity, a high-performance shaker screen is required to be added to the scrubber portion of the process line to separate water from the cut aqueous polyethylene (PE) plastic packaging waste from the comb washer.
In order to ensure the proper placement of the equipment to be procured directly, it is necessary to replace the roof equipment of the production hall, to install a new sandwich panel and to remodel the rain drainage channel. The reason for this is that the roof structure of the current production hall building needs to be renovated, cracked in several places, so the roof needs to be replaced in order to properly accommodate the new technology. The roof will be replaced on an area of about 600m2.
The project will also directly contribute to the preservation of existing jobs as well as the creation of new ones.
As a result of the project, it will be possible to employ 3 new employees. However, it should be emphasized that the project will also directly contribute to further reducing the environmental impact.

Planned completion date of the project: 30.06.2016.
